Hello everyone! Here’s our Christmas card. From our family to yours…
Dear Family and Friends,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! What a year it has been for our family! We have started the year in Houston, TX in preparation for our son's bone marrow transplant. As you know, he was born with an immune deficiency and the only known cure is a transplant. With God's gracious and merciful leading, Timothy found a donor and he had a transplant in February of this year. We are so grateful for His healing hands. Though he is still in the recovery process, everything went very smoothly. Thank you for your prayers and love throughout this whole process. We could not have survived this year without your support. Our little girl has been attending preschool since September. Claire has matured (as we all have) this year. She has grown to love her brother even more and appreciate family. She is slowly coming out of her shell and expresses herself more. Claire and Timothy play and talk with one another really well. They also fight extremely well too. For Daniel and myself, this past year of stress and challenges have brought us closer to one another. We have learned to appreciate each other and people around us much more. Our family looks forward to next year, in hopes that Timothy will be fully healed and we can resume "normal" life. We cannot wait to show Timothy... and Claire... all that he has missed and to enjoy the beauty of this life.
With Love,
Daniel, Alice, Claire and Timothy

ReplyDeleteHi Alice!
ReplyDeleteI come here to see how your family is doing and especially learning about Timothy's progress. What a year 2012 has been! We loved getting to know you while in Houston. May God's love and provision continue and may his grace fill your heart each day. We are doing well here in NYC as well. It was not an easy transition, but we are grateful. Sending you our love.
