Day -10

Today was a good day.  A very good day.  Timothy was in extra good mood today.  He ate well, played well and overall very pleasant especially to all the nurses and staff.  I am so thankful.  We are settled into our new “home” for the next month or so.  And Timothy adjusted very smoothly.  In 10 days, he will receive his new marrow in hopes that he will be cured of his disease.  His infusion date will be Day 0.

He received Keppra (an anticonvulsant or anti-seizure medication).  His first chemo will be Busulfan which can cause seizures, thus the anti-seizure meds.  Busulfan will be administered tomorrow.

All morning, I was very nervous.  But seeing Timothy’s happy and relaxed face made it all go away.  I am going to try to hold onto these moments of blessings as we face a new day tomorrow.  Thank you for praying for us and reminding us that we are in good Hands.
