Day +34

We had a pretty good clinic visit yesterday. His white blood cell count looks normal as well as his band %. He also received an IVIG infusion which basically helps his immune system. So it was a long clinic visit. Only concern was his liver number. It was elevated. We will see tomorrow how his liver is holding up and perhaps adjust his meds. I know God hears our prayers and we are so grateful for all the prayers lifted on Timothy’s behalf. He is still walking on tippy toes… But he has been eating and playing well :).

Here are some pictures of our new place:

It is fully furnished with hardwood flooring. Kids love the space. And nicer than our home in Cali :).

Not sure why Daniel looks like this… hmmm… Also our dining plus Daniel’s “office”.

My mom was here for about 2 weeks and it was perfect timing. She fed us and helped us move.

The kids room. (Timothy sleeps in his play pen in this room.) Notice the Texas flag as the bedding...

Master bedroom.

By the way, the internet was down for the weekend, thus the lack of post.

Kids playing together :).

This apartment was provided by His Grace Foundation. An awesome non-profit organization which provides support for families of bone marrow transplant patients of Texas Children’s Hospital. Not only was this apartment provided for us, but while we were in-patient, they did some weekly grocery shopping, provided massage therapy (for the parents), gave us a huge welcome basket with practically everything we needed, meals for the family, etc… What I have found is that here in Houston, because of the huge medical center, there are many medical housing available, such as this one. Many are affiliated with a religious organization. We have been the fortunate recipients of their ministries.
